Fall Trends 2015

The beginning of a new season is always fun! Change is a good thing. Embracing the change seasonally with hair and make-up is not a permanent change so have no fear... make-up washes off, hair grows and is there a better time than now to give something new a try?

From Elle.com As much as we love seeing bold experimental makeup on the runway in the moment, we really appreciate when a beauty look is something that's easy to recreate at home—and in that regard, the latest New York Fashion Week did not disappoint. From berry lips to flushed cheeks, these are the top trends from Fall 2015 that we are going to start trying out ASAP.

'90S LIPS From ripe berry lips at Carolina Herrera (pictured below) to plum black lips at Marc Jacobs to oxblood red at 3.1 Phillip Lim, this season we saw a sea of lip color that would definitely get Angela Chase's stamp of approval.

This season a handful of designers tasked their makeup artists with creating a look that many of those attending fashion week already had: flushed cheeks from the winter cold. At J.Crew (pictured below) they wanted the models to look like they just stepped off the slopes, while Kate Spade had a look that was all about a girl on a brisk wintry walk.

While over at marieclaire.com The 7 Most Coveted Hair Colors for Fall are...

Bronde While bronde is a serious contender for the most-talked-about hue of summer, this low-maintenance, soft blend of blonde and brunette is primed to be huge for fall. Just take one look at Lily James if you need proof.

Colored-Blocked Roots For the extra daring—ahem, Kylie—there are drastic roots. The look yields the same kind of drama that you get by color-blocking your outfit, but in more of an IDGAF kind of way.

Single-Process Brunette Even with the seemingly endless list of color techniques that exist today, stars won't soon forget the power of a singe-process dye job—particularly in a blackish-brunette hue, like Ciara's here, which is classic and striking all at once.

Live-In Highlights The term "lived in color" means not having to visit your stylist monthly. Forgoing touch-ups in favor of exposed roots, and grown out highlights with blithely chic results.

Burnt Auburn Auburn hues are always a shoe-in for fall, but this season, due in large part to the moody, coppery curls RiRi has been sporting all summer, a darker, more dramatic approach is the way to go.

Ice-Queen Blonde Because platinum is quite the statement/undertaking in cooler months, why not just opt for an ultra-frosty double-process à la Bey? It's just as impactful, but more hospitable for roots.

Candy Dip-Dye Both sweet and a little punk rock, pastel dip-dyes will be an unexpected pop of pastel during the colder months.
