Summer Hair

Summer is here and it is getting hotter day by day, your skin and hair needs special attention especially from drying and harmful sun-rays, so It’s necessary to understand the effects of summer season. Protection from Sun Sun affects not only your skin, it also affects your hair. It’s the enemy of your hair and scalp because it is consist of heat, UVA, UVB rays that cause damage. Sunscreen on the scalp while you are out in the sun will help to protect your scalp, and a professional deep conditioning treatment will help keep your hair soft and healthy through the summer. Overuse of heat appliances Especially during the summer, over use of hot irons and hair dryers can damage your hairs. Before using a blow dryer put a leave in conditioner in your hair, and before using a hot iron use a product that is designed to protect your hair from heat tools. Chlorine and salt water Chlorine and salt water can dry, discolor and damage your hair. Before swimming wet your hair thoroughly with water then add some leave in conditioner, this helps your hair from absorbing harmful chlorine. Most importantly make sure you wash your hair thoroughly immediately upon exiting the pool every time with a clarifying shampoo and moisturizing conditioner.
